Baltimore Ravens (9-7)
With a dominant running game led by Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice and a solid passing game led by Joe Flacco, the Baltimore Ravens finally have the offense they have been waiting for, but this season they will be even better with the addition of one of the best wide receivers in the league in Anquan Boldin.
Along with dominant offense that has the ability to put 30+ points on the scoreboard on any given Sunday, the Ravens defense will be just as good with perennial Pro Bowlers Ray Lewis and Ed Reed leading the way once again. When it comes to NFL football betting, no one does it better than Bodog. One of the top online sportsbooks in the industry, Bodog has the Ravens at -140 to win the AFC North.
Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)
Last season the Cincinnati Bengals absolutely dominated the AFC North division as they went 6-0 in division play, but even though they will have the same team relatively intact this season with a key addition on offense in perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver Terrell Owens, the Bengals might be taking a backseat to the Baltimore Ravens.
Adding T.O. to Carson Palmer’s arsenal definitely makes the Bengals offense much better, but I just can’t see them getting the best of the Joe Flacco and company this time around.
Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7)
Last year’s Super Bowl title defense was short lived as Ben Roethlisberger and company really struggled to get anything going and ultimately ended up missing the playoffs entirely.
One of the main reasons for the Steelers problems last season was the absence of superstar safety Troy Polamalu. With Polamalu battling a knee injury all season long, the Steelers defense was exposed and opposing teams took full advantage.
This season Pittsburgh should somewhat get back to form, but I still believe they will finish 3rd in this very competitive division and will be a long shot to make the playoffs.
Cleveland Browns (5-11)
As one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns don’t have much hope for the future and this season will be no different as they won’t stand much of a chance to compete with the Ravens, Bengals and Steelers in the AFC North.
